  • Voluntary Medical Male Circumcision

There is compelling evidence that Voluntary Medical Male Circumcision (VMMC) reduces the risk of heterosexually acquired HIV infection in men by approximately 60%.   • Sexual and Gender based Violence (SGBV)  Services

Sexual and Gender based violence (SGBV) refers to violence that targets individuals or groups on the basis of their gender. SGBV is an umbrella term for any harmful act that is perpetrated against a person’s will that could also lead to HIV infection, STI’s and unwanted pregnancies. Read more>>

  • Prevention of Mother-To-Child HIV Transmission (PMTCT)

Ensuring that no baby is born with HIV is an essential step towards achieving an AIDS-free generation. MJAP supports PMTCT service delivery in Mulago hospital (in partnership with MUJHU Care) and in all the 13 HC IIIs, 4 HC IVs and Mbarara hospital in Mbarara district. Read more>>

  • Antiretroviral Treatment (ART)

The ART services supported by MJAP include screening for ART eligibility, provision of ARV drugs, laboratory and clinical monitoring of ART and training of health care providers in ART services. Read more>>

  • Integrated TB/HIV diagnosis and care

In line with the Uganda National policy on TB/HIV collaborative services launched in March 2006, we  pioneered integrated TB screening and treatment within the program’s Routine HIV testing and care programmes in Mulago and Mbarara teaching hospitals. Read more>>


ORPHANS AND VULNERABLE CHILDREN SUPPORT

At MJAP, we know that the diverse effects of HIV/AIDS have left many children vulnerable at a tender age. That is why through our OVC program, we support children orphaned as a result of the epidemic. Read more>>


LABORATORY SERVICES
